We designed ABii to fit right into your everyday instructional practice, and her lessons to complement your lesson plans.
Our ABii Classroom Expert (ACE) helps teachers feel confident and comfortable integrating ABii into their classrooms.

ABii Implementation
Classroom coaching is essential for effective, long-term integration of educational technology. ABii robots are designed to flexibly integrate into daily instructional practice, but the specific ways in which ABii is implemented (independent learning time, small group workshop, augmenting whole group instruction or a combination) may vary from classroom to classroom based on the grade level, students, schedule and preferences of each teacher, school or district. To maximize the value and effectiveness of ABii robots for your students, Van Robotics provides onsite integration support through highly trained ABii Classroom Experts (ACE) who work one-on-one with teachers and share best practices for successful implementation.
Our onsite Professional Development (PD) will enable teachers to learn the basics of how to manage students, launch lessons, view reports, and align ABii’s lessons to their own lesson plan. After PD, the ABii Classroom Expert (ACE) will initiate classroom observations and a personalized implementation plan for each teacher immediately following the completion of training. Contiguous ACE coaching for multiple sites is available.
ACE Coaching
After on-site PD with educators and administrators, our ABii Classroom Expert (ACE) will spend the week getting to know each educator by first observing, and then making recommendations on the best ways to incorporate ABii into what teachers are already doing, to help you reach every student, every day. Educators will leave with an actionable plan in-hand of how they will use ABii in their classroom!

Then what?
In the weeks following, the ACE will check in with each teacher to evaluate and update the plan for ABii’s use to best address the needs of each individual educator. At the end of the first 5 weeks, the district will receive an Impact Report, reflecting ABii usage within the school and highlighting math and reading achievements (at the class and student level) gained from using ABii.
Dedicated ABii Support
Your ACE will lead your team through successful onboarding and guide best practices at each level of implementation. The ACE is dedicated to ensuring timely support, whether in person, by phone or email, and is fully trained on all things ABii. Your expert will also periodically aggregate and share robust reports on student usage and impact as well as robot software status.
Onsite Professional Development
Our team will come to you and one of our expert trainers will provide hands-on PD to help your teachers feel confident in bringing ABii into the classroom. Your team will get to work with an ACE and hear stories from classroom educators that have successfully leveraged ABii with students. Participants will walk out with a customized action plan for implementing ABii.
Ongoing Coaching
We're with you the whole way! Educators have access to ongoing virtual coaching and tech support. We will work with your whole team to help maximize ABii's impact on student learning, which will free up teacher time and reduce stress. Your ABii coach is your personal champion to provide fresh ideas and ongoing support, so teachers can reach every student, every day.
Management Support
District Technology leaders have a direct line of communication with our team. Our integrated dashboard enables your technology staff to easily manage and update devices, monitor usage and status, and assign robots as needed.
